Privacy
Written to be read rather than to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it properly.
The short version
- This website sets no cookies.
- It loads nothing from third parties: no embedded maps, no social widgets, no font services, no advertising or tracking scripts.
- It has no forms, so there is no way to submit personal data through it.
Who is responsible
Andrew Nurnberg Irodalmi Ügynökség Kft. is the data controller. Our registered address and company details are on the Contact page, and privacy questions can be sent to rights@nurnberg.hu.
What the website itself collects
Nothing that identifies you. The site is a set of static files with no database, no login and no forms.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request data such as IP addresses in order to deliver the pages and protect the service against abuse. This is standard for any website and we do not have access to it in a form that identifies individual visitors.
When you write to us
If you email or call us, we process what you send in order to answer you and, where relevant, to do business with you. We keep correspondence for as long as the working relationship and our legal and accounting obligations require, and no longer.
Email reaches us through our mail provider, Fastmail, which processes messages on our behalf.
If you send a submission
Authors who write to us with a submission send us their manuscript, publication history and contact details. We use that material only to assess whether we can represent the work.
If we do not take a project on, we delete the material we were sent once the assessment is finished. We do not pass submissions to anyone outside the agency, and we do not add anybody to a mailing list on the basis of a submission.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Write to rights@nurnberg.hu and we will respond.
If you believe we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), naih.hu.
